Accepted Inc. is a Christian ministry created to help people see Jesus beyond fear, shame, religion, and rejection.
Our mission is simple: help people know the truth of God’s Word, experience His grace, love, and hope, and understand that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
We especially want to reach people who have questions, people who have felt rejected or hurt by the church, and people who wonder whether God still wants them.

Our Story
Accepted Inc. didn’t begin as an idea for another Christian ministry. It grew out of personal experience — including faith, questions, church hurt, and seeing how easily people can be pushed away from Jesus by the very people who are supposed to point them toward Him.
Our founder, Derek Mercurio, knows what it is like to love Jesus and still walk into a church wondering whether there will be a place for you. As a gay Christian, he experienced firsthand how quickly conversations about faith can become conversations about whether someone belongs, rather than about the grace and finished work of Jesus Christ.
Those experiences created questions that couldn’t simply be ignored. What does the Bible actually say? What is required for salvation? Is grace really a gift, or does someone have to change first before they can come to Christ? And what happens to people who have been hurt so badly by Christians that they no longer want anything to do with Christianity?
Accepted Inc. grew from a desire to create a place where those questions could be asked honestly and examined through Scripture without fear, shame, or condemnation.
Today, that purpose reaches far beyond one person’s story. Accepted Inc. exists for anyone who is hurting, searching, questioning, growing in faith, or simply trying to understand what is true.
We don’t have every answer. But we believe the truth can withstand honest questions, grace should never be hidden behind religion, and every conversation should ultimately point people back to Jesus.
Who We Serve

For the person who believes in Jesus but has been hurt by the church.
For the person who has questions they’ve been afraid to ask.
For LGBTQ people who have been told there is no place for them in Christianity.
For the person who has walked away from church but hasn’t stopped thinking about God.
For the skeptic who is willing to have an honest conversation.
For Christians who want to dig deeper into Scripture and separate biblical truth from tradition, fear, and religious expectations.
And for anyone who simply needs hope.

Accepted Inc. is not a church, and our ministry is not limited by a building. Our goal is to meet people where they are and point them toward Jesus Christ and the truth of Scripture.
